An important note on fees: I believe high school and college students from all backgrounds deserve thoughtful guidance on admissions essays, I offer current high school and undergraduate students sliding-scale fees each year. Brainstorm Bell
45 to 60 minutes of brainstorming any of your written submissions. This package is best for those who are struggling to produce a compelling draft of their writing. How do you want to tell your story? What structure will best suit your narrative? Where do you want it to conclude? At the end of this brainstorm, we’ll send a follow-up email summarizing our chat, with concrete actionable steps – the goal is to ensure that you leave feeling ready to begin writing and aren’t left facing an intimidating blank screen.

Golden Cowbell
Support from start to finish. This package offers a 60-minute brainstorm meeting, written comments on up to three drafts of any 10 single-spaced pages of your writing, and up to two hours of follow-up conversations with Katie.

Brilliant Bell
Our mainstay service! This is a stellar option for clients for whom the main task is polishing and refining an already strong draft. This package comes with written comments on one draft of a single essay (up to 10 pages, single-spaced), along with one 30-minute follow-up meeting with Katie.

More Cowbell!
This package is an extension of the Brilliant Bell. Rather than offering written comments on just one draft of your chosen essay (up to 10 pages, single-spaced), this version offers two rounds of written feedback. After each round, you will receive a 30-minute follow-up meeting with Katie.
Price: $875 (if you upgrade from the Brilliant Bell, I will honor this pricing)
Hourly Bell
I am available for additional assistance with writing (from brainstorming to footnotes) at an hourly rate.
